The Adäka Cultural Festival is a world class, iconic festival committed to showcasing, celebrating, and fostering the development of Yukon's diverse and distinctive First Nations arts and culture.
For 8 days in late June 150+ performing and visual First Nations artists gather at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon to celebrate and showcase their arts and culture. Representing communities from across the Yukon along with guest artists from other Aboriginal communities in Canada and Alaska, the Festival features a vibrant schedule of events including traditional and contemporary dance, music, and drumming, arts exhibitions, artist demonstrations, cultural presentations, drumming circles, storytelling, public workshops, professional development seminars, Aboriginal films, a community feast, and more!
