Canada's largest film festival North of 60 is a carefully selected festival of Canadian and International feature fiction and documentary films. The 11th annual ALFF will include 30 screenings, guest filmmakers, the Fire Hall Film Talks series, and the ALFF Industry Forum (Feb 4 to 6). Guests this year include: Peter Mettler (The End of Time), Stephen Smith+ Julia Szacs (Vanishing Point), Andy Keen (Bobcaygeon), Lulu Keating (Lucille's Ball), David Paperny (Yukon Gold series for History Channel), and Jeremy Mendes (Bear 71).
Past guest directors include: Guy Maddin, John Walker, Nettie Wild, Zacharias Kunuk, Gil Cardinal, Charles Officer, Jason James, Neil Diamond, Carol Geddes, Omar Majeed, Peter Wintonick, Sherry White, Tantoo Cardinal, and Carl Bessai.

i have travelled the canadian north in eastern north a number of times, fishing etc as well as picking up some lovely art from stone and bone!!!
It would be lovely to see the western north as an enhancement to nowledge of Canada and our peoples!!!!The enjoyment andd friendly north brings so much to me that we in the south do not appreciate how well our northern cousins live so well frm the land and sea!!
