Sioux Lookout’s summer jewel, the Blueberry Festival, is Ontario’s oldest 10—day festival.
Running from July 29-Aug 7, the 2011 festival boasts over 100 events such as: a children’s festival, various sports tournaments, a fish-fry, a music festival, and a trade show.
Join us celebrating our 29th festival. Make sure to come in 2012, Aug 3-Aug12, to help us celebrate our 30th festival.

I have been coming to Sioux Lookout for the past four years and have always enjoyed the Blueberry Festival. The heart and spirit of the people in Sioux Lookout is contagious. This year I decided to become involved in the Festival. I have been hired as the Coordinator for 2012. The 29th Blueberry Festival was so much fun and a great success! Blueberry Bert turns the big 3-0 next year and his birthday celebration is going to be bigger and better than the rest. I am so excited to plan next year's festival and enjoy every minute of it!
